What is hair restoration?

What causes hair loss?

What should I expect during hair restoration treatments?

When you have a PRP hair restoration treatment, Dr. Guy begins by drawing a vial of your blood. He separates the solid blood cells from the plasma in a centrifuge and then combines your platelets and plasma. 

When your serum is ready, he uses a Dermapen® to inject it directly into your hair follicles. The PRP triggers your natural hair growth process more rapidly and effectively than topical medication. There’s no downtime or scarring, which is common with hair transplants.

A peptide cream is provided to you if necessary to place on the scalp each day that allows for the hair to grow more optimally following the procedure.

In addition to the PRP treatments, Dr. Guy offers treatments to reduce testosterone conversion to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) and androgen receptor binding to address one of the hormonal root causes of hair loss and reduce inflammation.
